Five Birds

Five birds steeping its wings.

The old man count the flutter
Sound of a crack
Leaves of a hands tree

“Tell me,” ask he
To the child on his lap:
“What number
That is arrived
At the cavity of your ears?”

Mum.

“Did you not see:
The knight Sungsang
Gaze upward afore the elephant?

“Many houses tumbled
For metals
Blackened
At the river
Over and over.”

The child,
Has not been able to speak,
Remain silent.

The birds averse to hush
The old woman
Not yet completed
Frizzle some cakes Cucur
While the old man
Collect the wings flick.

The winds idled. Perhaps then,
A piece of rune
Perfectly finished.
